Who we are

Waypoint is a competitive gaming league operated by Next Level Gaming Maryland LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you register for a league or tournament and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account and registration details you provide — name, date of birth, email, phone number, county, game preferences, and, for players under 18, a parent/guardian’s name, phone, and email. We use this information to operate the league: scheduling matches, confirming scores, sending you league communications, and verifying eligibility and age-division placement.

Mobile messaging & SMS

When you opt in during registration, we send recurring automated text messages about your matches, schedule, opponents, score confirmations, and league announcements. For players under 18, the parent/guardian opts in on the player’s behalf and messages are sent to the guardian’s phone number.

No sharing of opt-in data: Mobile opt-in information and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies by event activity.
Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out: Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the league (for example, our messaging and scheduling tools) and only as required to deliver the service or comply with the law.
